A cornerstone of HBO's late-night block of original entertainment, Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam returns this January with a new host: superstar comic D.L. Hughley, who will welcome
some new and familiar faces. In addition to an opening film clip featuring surprise guests and an introductory routine from Hughley, each half-hour show will include three to four comedians, the music of veteran deejay Kid Capri, and an appearance by The Man himself, Russell Simmons - all in front of an enthusiastic audience in Los Angeles.
